I'd make this statement very plural. As in talk to a few girls. Not so many or so often you're screwing up all the conversations though. Replace them as they drop from the herd. Eventually one will be so damn annoying, I mean persistent, you'll find yourself only talking to her.
Then you're ****ed... or winning. Whatever it's called.
