The last 5 though, alex has had a huge hand in keeping the Chiefs competitive against good teams, and he was instrumental today in capitalizing on Raiders mistakes, and turning turnovers into points. At one point, the Chiefs were up by only 4 points, and that's when a lot of people in the game day thread, were calling a 3 and out, and Alex executed.
If you cant say that Alex is a cause of victories these past two weeks, and a big reason they had a chance in the two Denver and San Diego games, im not sure that you are being very honest.
the chiefs have stopped no one really since the Cleveland game.

I have not said anything like this. I said he has not been called upon to win any games consistently.
He has done just what he has done all year, not lose them. Play calling and plays executing has more to do with the offense now than AS does. To me, Alex has done this pretty much all year, players were not executing to help him look better.
To be fair, our play calling as well as not executing was the biggest reason we sucked for 9 weeks.
