I'm not reading the whole thread, but it sounds like he's thinking about suing a homeowner because he slipped on some ice on their sidewalk? I'm not sure I would buy into that. Any time you fall, is the property owner liable? I kind of view it as my responsibility to not walk off cliffs, not step into abandoned wells, and be careful when I see slippery stuff. It's a reasonable person standard. If the homeowner had time to clear and salt and properly light the area and they didnt do crap and ordered delivery then a jury may find them liable.
Mecca, workers comp will have a lien if you recover in a lawsuit.
