They picked literally the WORST book out of Morrison's epic run on Batman to do as an animated feature.. maybe they're planning on doing the rest.. hopefully.. story doesn't make much sense or come into fruition without the rest of it.
EDIT: Just watched the trailer. Jesus they utterly shat on the story I guess to make it more "standalone??" Deathstroke? WHAT??
This is a complete and utter abortion of an adaptation..
I hope to god they're not planning to segway this into a New 52 story because that would be a ****ing disgrace. The "Batman and Son" story is supposed to lead into Bruce's death and then Batman Reborn when Nightwing becomes Batman and Damon becomes Robin and then Bruce coming back with Batman INC and finally Damon's death.. they already have him running around in his Robin outfit in this one.. this is a ****ing story abomination.
