Technically, banning someone is separate from posting. Awarding Poster of the Year for banning someone would be like giving Peyton Manning the MVP because of his TV commercials are so great. It's a separate activity.

The integrity of Poster of the Year honors must be defended and should not be sullied by the dirty business of mod-ing.
