So, not a huge purchase of guns and ammo. Still, it's kind of strange that all these non-military/law enforcement federal agencies are stocking up on guns and ammo. I think the cumulative effect of all these federal agencies buying all these small arms and ammo is somewhat troubling. It may be a back door way to drive up the price of guns and ammo and delay the general population from having access to this stuff. Hard to know for sure. We'd need to see what these type of purchases were like 10, 15, 20, 25 years ago to see if this is way off or just pretty typical.

Most people don't seem to understand that many federal agencies have internal law enforcement arms. The NOAA purchase they're complaining about supplies their agents with just over 700 rounds. Really? Bitching about 700 rounds per officer?
