The Eagles went into decline when McNabb left. That's not because of Banner. That's because McNabb got old and the team needed to move on. It's no coincidence that they were good the next year, when Vick played well, and then went on a downward trajectory as Vick declined in both health and play, until they got another good QB performance from Foles this year.
