King said that he had a different ending in mind for "11/22/63" but his son, Joe Hill, came up with a better one. King should pay him to do that on every book from here on.

It shouldn't have been that way. However, the ending where Stu and Tom made their way back was pretty cool.
IT ended in kind of a cool way IMHO. I thought it really took some imagination and took the reader on a journey.

I recently re-read "IT" and the ending wasn't as bad as I remembered. There are still some eye-rolling parts but it was better than remembered.
