I woulda put a "B" on this one. There were plenty of Ds defending this right here in this forum because it protected the money of the masses in banks and saved jobs.

There are Ds further to the left that don't like bailing out any corp, but the mainstream ones are fully in their pockets. Then there are Rs further to the R that support the bailouts. Just about every post WWII president has engaged in economic stimulus as a solution to an economic downturn. The differences, though slight, are in how much they do it and where the money gets spent.
