Portugese is the shocker there. Such a tiny country (population of 11 million, so around the same as Pennsylvania, or Ohio, and a little less than Illinois), and yet their old empire was large, and so Brazil, with 200 million people, has it as their primary language, along with a number of other places spread around the globe.
