Yeah, you won't be disappointed. At first the very thought of bringing Maul back was eyerolling worthy, but they pulled it off in the end.
As has been discussed, there are episodes that are seemingly made exclusively for the pre-teens, but business picks up when the storyline gets dark. Overall I think you'll enjoy the entirety of the shows.
