It just gets better and better.
Missouri junior forward Zach Price has been indefinitely suspended from the Tigers’ basketball team following his arrest early Thursday morning on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault and third-degree assault.
Price, 20, was arrested at 2:31 a.m. approximately one hour after an incident in the area of Stadium Boulevard. He allegedly was involved in an altercation with a 23-year-old male roommate and a 23-year-old female, a Columbia Police sergeant told the Columbia Daily Tribune.
Missouri coach Frank Haith said he was aware that Price was arrested and said discipline will be handled internally.
Price, a 6-foot-10 forward who sat out last season under NCAA transfer rules after leaving Louisville, averaged 1.2 points and 1.4 rebounds two years ago when the Cardinals won the national championship. He started seven games for Louisville that season.
