That's disheartening. Sounds "The Blind Side" bad.

I hate football movies made for people who don't watch football.

They should have significantly reduced this budget, dropped NFL cooperation, all of the shitty movie platitudes, and gone full wonk with it.

Release it in limited theaters, market it as a poor man's Moneyball, and watch it becomes a cult classic that every football die hard would love to own.
