I despair of ever coming close to getting my metadata right, what with 1300+ CDs ripped, and another 150Gb of stuff I've 'browsed.'
I can't even get around to cleaning up my itunes podcast library. Tons of stuff I've listened to already and don't need to see again.

JRiver does a pretty good job, though. Wish it did as well with my music as it does my DVRed TV. Soon as it's saved, it does as screenshot, and dl's obtains metadata with a synopsis and original air date that pops up on hover over screenshot.
