Hey bud, good to see you too. I'm not impressed by this draft for KC. As always, I do hope all the picks work out, but we've both been watching this long enough to call a GMs horseshit when we see it. A reach is usually a reach, but we'll see. The best pick KC has made thusfar in my opinion was Phillip Gaines, I thought he was a high 2nd round type of talent. Not high on Ford, so lets hope he gets coached up and can overcome his physical limitations against pros. I didn't care for McCluster, so call me not elated by what looks to be a worse version of him. I liked McCarron much more than Murray, but I don't mind a smaller clone of Alex Smith I suppose. All things considered, KCs draft isn't terrible but it sure doesn't make me feel very good either.

To whoever said it regarding grading this draft, I've been doing the draft thing for a long time. I don't miss on value very often. I missed on Poe though, so lets hope the Chiefs can prove me wrong twice in 15 years.

I'm looking at some teams. I think Green Bay has had an outstanding draft if you take away the 3rd round comp. Oakland has had a nice draft. Pittsburgh has had a nice draft. San Diego has done a good job. Cleveland, they had 2 first rounders, but their draft is rock solid. I like what Buffalo has done. You look at Baltimore, they may have their new Ray Lewis/Ed Reed combo now, very nice draft I think. I don't like what KC has done all that much.

Good teams still draft to fill holes early and then for depth later. KC hasn't given me much to bank on in 2014. WR is still looking dire, FS is looking dire, RG is a big question. The answers better be on the roster, else we'll be looking at the same problems again.
