Yeah, it can be crazy sometimes (though most areas of the country tend to believe that their weather is crazier than anyone else's). The big thing out here is that our weather is heavily dependent on cloud cover since we're higher up. If the sun's out, it's hot. If it's not, it's cold. Couple that with actual fronts moving through, and you can see some pretty wild temperature swings from time to time.
