Sorry, while the last 6 games presented hope that Alex Smith is progressing, and can be more than a stop gap, mediocre game manager, it was only 6 games, and in no way justifies over paying on a long term deal.

Give him a 100 mil extension, and he regresses, KC would be ****ed.
