Admittedly I've seen fights in schools that lasted longer, but at least both sides were, well, fighting. This is the equivalent of a guy in the 'ol high school hallway cold-cocking somebody walking the other way down the hall.
Much like this knockout deal some are doing, I'm thinking the unexpected nature of the punch puts the act at the brutal level.
And yes, this guy getting beaten by a hammer would be OK by me. In fact, I suspect this guy will get out of jail someday, he might want to be be concerned then too.
