Spot on about the feet. It looks like I setup with them a bit more out but shifted them noticeably in before pulling. I'll try more angled out as well.

your on the right track. Sumo pulling is much more technical than traditional close stance. Close stance is more grip and rip, where all your leverages need to be aligned for a good sumo pull. Take some more side videos next time and watch as you sit back right before you pull, your shins will go perpendicular with the floor. Also remember, sumo will feel slower off the floor, but easier to finish/lock out. Traditional is faster off the floor, slower lock out.

Check out some of Chris Duffin's vids. He does like a 'double pop' to get low/back and fire the glutes/hams. Some really good info on his channel as well.
