I thought it as going to be a hit too, but it was close enough that Escobar should have held up at roughly second.
If he winds up at third with no outs, he'll probably score anyway. If we would have had 1 out (so want to score to avoid double play) then it could be defensible, but with no out, you have to make sure he doesn't catch it.
