I think depression falls into this category too. Just because we can't fully understand why Robin Williams would feel so overwhelmed that he needed to just end the pain doesn't mean we shouldn't show empathy or celebrate his life.

No it's just because people only see some instances of suicide as tragedy and others they see as just or cowardly.
And you totally missed my point. I think it's great people are celebrating his life and the same should have been done for Seau. Williams is getting empathy and Seau got none and even hatred. Or at least if you aren't going to "celebrate" that person's life, let's at least not cast stones.
