I'm not sure eBay or Amazon have a direct dog in the fight, but it sure would be good for the consumer. Then again, I suspect the lesser (or more scared) of the two would have their lawyers step forward and question everything that's not really relevant as a "well it's not 100% accurate 'in our opinion'". yeah, the first to do that should be the one everybody runs from.
I'm now a member of both, and I think it's fair to say that it took me this long to "go Prime" because I was struggling to find the real savings, the added challenge I feel the Amazon site offers over the eBay site, and being honest about just how often I need it in two days. I know it's nice to think you're always getting 2-day delivery, but I've also heard that it often doesn't happen even is you order as Prime. Sure, if you complain they comp you, and that's cool, but what if you actually needed it in two days? Oh, and once I got to looking, not tat most things aren't able to be found as Prime, for my long-time Prime friends, they're saying they're seeing more-and-more items not offered as prime. IDK, we'll see.
But alas, the deal is done now. And I'm happy, I'm just trying to be objective...
