The Jets allow less yards per rush than any team we've faced, including the Broncos and 49ers. After having trouble getting anywhere on the ground through three quarters against a Rams team that gave up over 1.5 more YPC than the Jets, I'm hesitant to say we'll be able to run the ball effectively this Sunday. It seems we tend to struggle mightily against teams with stellar defensive lines and NY has just about the best one out there.
I'd like to say the fact that the Jets allowing 22 passing TDs and only forcing 1 INT (good for the worst opposing QB rating allowed in the league) would be something we could exploit but we just faced a Rams team that was starting all rookies at CB and didn't seem to move the ball any more effectively than any other week.
We'll probably struggle with Chris Ivory because he runs hard and some Sundays we just forget how to tackle. Harvin and Kerley could run free a bit.
Their QB situation should be the deciding factor, though. Either one should be good for at least two turnovers.
I'd guess we win this one by a comfortable score (maybe 10 points or so) but it'll appear close into the second half like most of our games.
