I thought our run blocking was the worst I've seen it in years. I think the medical problems/holdouts and lack of playing time in preseason really hurt the first unit.
Like it or not, pounding the ball in the beginning of the game made the most sense. We needed to control the clock. The Colts reportedly had a weak left side and weak LB's. Normally, T-Rich should have been able to plow right through them. Instead, he had no holes.
Without the ability to run we always struggle at establishing the pass. We actually had people open and got them the ball for a change, however hanging onto it was another matter. In the end, however we needed the run and it never devevloped.
