I'd love nothing more than KC drafting luck, or Tyler turning into the next Brady,or even Alex the next Montana. But the truth is; lightening just strikes where it strikes. You can't force it. Nothing will ever change that, because as soon as you think you draft manning, or luck; you end up with Blackridge or Leaf. Or anything in between.
Face it, the top tiered QBs can be counted on one hand, through a dozen years, RBs are more replaceable than underwear, WRs are wishy washy, even with top tier QBs. Especially with top teir QBs, even more unstable with Middle of the line QBs!
Talent is more equal than; accountable for, coaching wins, situation wins, desire wins. We have so many injuries on D, yet make plays without the "backup QB arguements" from last year. Our line is sub par but we control TOP....... We haven't seen as neat and pretty as most instant gratification self servng pussies would like to see; but we're winning. We're giving a chance to win with ball control, despite take aways being low. TOP despite no real WR or QB threat.
Jesus, I swear some of you would bitch about a gold brick because of its shape
