I look at it like the difference between 2006-2008 – some pieces changed, but the core went from a first round loss to a championship just by getting older. Other than Kentucky (which their 2011 team had more experienced players than they get credit for), maturity has shown to be a major factor in making a deep run.
That, and hopefully having a star player that prefers to take over games instead of watching from the 3-point line.
