Strange he was wildly popular among the people around me at that time. Dale Sr would have been a better example as in his last years he became more popular. His death sent his popularity to unreal levels. He certainly had a very solid fan base myself one of them. That said he was flat out hated by many for years and several drivers held a dislike for him also. Your man Elliott being one of them~
