Yes, it is "Girlie ass-dramatic shit". A loss on Sunday doesn't mean anything other than we're 1 more game in the deficit.
You're overly worried about Wild-Card breakers when you don't even know if Orton and the Bills can sustain success for the remainder of the season.
I agree that it's an important game RIGHT NOW, but by the end of the season we may look back and this game might not have mattered nearly as much as we thought.

The "fire everyone" thread isn't the poison arrow you seem to believe it is. I said in that thread that we were all afraid that the offseason was a total disaster, and the first game vindicated those fears -- therefore, if there wasn't a dramatic turnaround by the middle of the season, Dorsey's head should roll.
And guess what happened.
As for the actual on topic stuff, it's an 8-game season at this point with 11 teams in the AFC with 5 wins. The margin for error is miniscule. A win puts us at 60% likely to make the playoffs, a loss puts us at roughly half of that with no easy games left on the schedule but two Oakland games.
