DE/OLB Alvin Dupree, Kentucky -- There aren't many passrushers in this draft that are going to be more attractive than Dupree, who at this point is looking like a slam dunk first rounder. Dupree is a former tight end who's done nothing but put up consistently really good numbers since 2012. He's an extremely fit 6'4", 264 lbs with exceptional athleticism, and can cover a ton of ground in the passing game. The Wildcats stood him up about 75% of the time, so he looks like a great prospect at 3-4 OLB who you can plug in right away. He does, however, need a lot of work on his passrushing moves and his ability to stack and shed in the run game (tight ends can neutralize him routinely -- that shouldn't last if he gets good coaching), so a 4-3 team can draft him and groom him to be a DE for a little while as well. He plays with excellent energy and can really burst off the line. Keep in mind this is a player still learning the finer points of his position and can only get better with extensive coaching. He's both a sure thing (he has double-digit sack potential) but also has a high roof. He's currently flying under the radar but he should go late in the 1st barring any surprises.
