seriously; aside from the Chiefs being perpetually 'almost good'....the primary reason I've soured so much on the NFL is Manning. He's everywhere. every god damn week he's on a national game etc. and it's not just because he's now with the Broncos; I hated him even when he was at Indy for the same reason. For me personally, there's no reason to watch any NFL games with any regularity because I'd be stuck with watching Manning week in and week out. Not in the literal sense, but by in large.
when he retires. i'll probably get a little more interested in the NFL again maybe. talk about over exposure/saturation of a product/player. JFC.
