OK, so I'm trying to decide between two lenses. This will be the lens I want to keep on my 50D most of the time.
Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM
-or-
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Right now I keep the kit lens that came with my 20D on most of the time - 18-55m f/who-knows-what.
