I agree. Collins would be the best option for the Chiefs in the first round in the 2015 draft IMO.
They have to upgrade two OL positions (LG/RT), two WR positions, MLB and find a guy to replace Berry. If they do that, I think that this team has a legit chance.
If they can get Derek Sherrod's head back into football, they'll solve the problem at RT. Guy had the size and skill set. I guess he keeps hearing that leg bone crack. If they can get him to play again at the same level he did coming out of college, it's a massive win for the team.
And, as Sandy said, I'd much rather have Jeff Allen as your all-purpose backup versus a starter - unless he has an epiphany. I know he put a lot of work in in the pre-2014 off-season so who knows. I'd just rather see him as the guy you can have come in and plug a hole at either tackle or guard spot in a pinch versus an every down starter.
They do have to resign Hudson though. More important than even Houston IMO.
