As has been stated before, Tomlinson has been a RG his entire career at Duke (four year starter at RG). I'm not so sure you burn a second or third rounder on a guy who hasn't been moved over to one of the other positions on the line if he's "that good." While he showed well in the game that featured straight up blocking, I worry about his ability to pull and trap, especially at the next level. A guy like John Miller, who has also been a guard his entire career - LG - shows a bit more mobility than Tomlinson IMO.

Then you have Matias and Kouandjio, players who have the perceived high ceiling, but haven't shown the consistency throughout their career that a guy like Miller has. There has been spots during games where both have been completely worked and that worries me from a OG perspective, especially one where the Chiefs need a guy who will immediately upgrade the position.

To me, John Miller is the guy who you can plug in immediately and get high level results from without having to worry about a learning/teaching/coaching curve as you would with someone like Matias. I put Miller into the Gabe Jackson/Larry Warford category: a massive, very powerful college LG who is fundamentally sound whose strength will immediately translate to the next level. They aren't the flashiest guys for the position, but they get it done sooner and at a higher level.

Then you have the three mountains in Miami's Ereck Flowers, Utah's Jeremiah Poutasi and Penn State's Donovan Smith, all three of which could play RT or either guard spot, with Flowers having the best feet of the three and potential NFL LT skills. (I'm not too familiar with Smith though. Any Penn State fans want to chime in on him?) Poutasi is an absolute earth mover and has played the last two seasons at LT (started as a true freshman at RT) and played it well against some seriously good pass rushers in the PAC 12. All three are potential RT's or LG's.
Personally I love Havenstein as a RT. He looked so good in mobile and he's a Wisconsin product that has produced good talents at OL over the years.

Last year we almost drafted Chris Watt. Very big guy with very good results at ND.
I think that the Chiefs are going to select a guy like that earlier this year.
