Out of the ordinary, sure. Crazy? I think magnetic vortexes and alien abduction theories are crazy, but this one actually has some (emphasis on 'some') logical analysis behind it. There is some stuff in there that I'd like to double check regarding the Ukrainian passengers and where they sat, to include this E/E cabin and it's ease of access and capabilities.
Regardless, the Russians are a nutty bunch but this paints them in a different color altogether. What he doesn't answer satisfactorily is why; to kidnap Freescale Semiconductor employees? The whole thing is damn curious.
