There's no way he'd slip past the Patriots at the back of the round.
If you can get him in the late 1st, your guaranteed money isn't even that high and you'd have the right to the 5th year player option on there as well so if he
did excel, you'd have him cheap for a long time.
Honestly, if he fell past the Chiefs I'd be
pissed. The guy is probably the most talented pure pass-rusher in the draft and it's a draft that's absolutely
loaded at the position. It's like being the most talented QB in the '83 draft class. Oh sure, somebody's probably going to draw a Blackledge but if you can get Marino and take your chances, you do so.
