ethanol is also less efficient
Last stats i saw were that it takes a 1.5 gallons of ethanol to produce the same energy as a gallon of gas.
Going forward producing enough food for a growing population is going to further squeeze ethanol out as a energy source.
Full court press on electricity imo
Maybe hydrogen/electricity, maybe just straight battery/electricity ... whatever works best.
