The Browns are in no man's land. They can't possibly sell to their fan base using another first on a project QB. They definitely can't sell to their fan base trading up. They also can't sell to their fan base another miserable season.
I can't believe they'd give up this much, but I kind of get it. The Browns need a winning season a lot more desperately than the Chiefs do. Cleveland was a borderline playoff team with Hoyer and Weeden at QB. Bradford is terrible but he's a million times better than anyone they've had. That says a lot.
