They already started. Heard it on STL radio today. Theory goes that the Cardinals are the most profitable team in baseball. We have not done much in FA besides Peraltta since Holliday in 2009. That should have money to blow.
We take Hamels and Howards full salaries. Going to have to write off a bunch of Howards money. But, thats the way you get those 2 players for cheaper cost in prospects.

Holliday at 1B through 2017 sounds good to me if you can get buy in from Holliday.
