I'm fine with Wacha/Lynn/Lackey in the playoffs. Martinez can take the one game if needed. We have issues with that. Wacha and Martinez need to slow down their innings or they will not make it to the playoffs. Neither has thrown 200 innings and thats where they are currently heading.

We need a pitcher than can eat up innings, not a Hamels. If we go for Hamels, they are going to want Reyes or Kaminsky. The cover is pretty damn bare in 2017. No reason to go there right now.

We need a #4 starter. You guys would know who would be a better fit than I would know. We could trade an outfielder, IMO thats Jay. And then what pitcher would need to be in that deal to get a #4 starter?
