His stuff isn't electric, but neither is Marco's. He just looks nervous as hell out there, that's all. He just chucked another breaker to the backstop - he seems terrified.
You don't pitch as well as he's pitched in the PCL this year without some ability. Moreover, we've not seen nearly enough from him at this level to close the door on him at 24 yrs old. If he's scared, you know he's not following through completely on his pitches and that will lead to guiding balls like crazy. I completely believe that's why he was throwing 86 last time - too scared to cut loose.
His scouting reports read 90-91 and I saw him do the same in a spring training game last season. There's more to him than what we're seeing, IMO. He just really needs to get his nerves under control.

I don't know what the end game is for him, but he's always had good #s at Memphis iirc
