I said it in his last start - I saw a lot I liked from Cooney. The changeup is legit, the fastball has decent sink. If he can get his breaking ball over at all, he's not going to be a chump and if he can get it over with sharp break every other time instead of every 4th time, he'll actually be an asset.
And hey! Motivation Mike has his guys playing with their hair on fire again! Nice job running the ****ing bases, Peralta.
They sure play hard for him, don't they? Oh well, I guess when they just watched him absolutely punt game 1 maybe they decided that they got all of Tuesday off instead of just Tuesday afternoon.
