1) He's out for more than a month. At least 10 weeks. And maybe longer.
2) They've survived a 9-game stretch without him. They're likely playing 50 more games, at least, without Gordon. That leaves the OF awfully thin, especially considering one of the three OF positions was already really, really shaky.
3) I hope you continue to be right, and Paulo Orlando continues to produce an OPS near 1.000 (one of the keys to this hot stretch). But logic dictates Orlando will likely get overexposed again and start to fall off. That's why people were concerned it left the Royals needing to add OF help.
