But holy hell is he powerful. The bomb he hit yesterday was on accident. He has absolute thunder in that bat. So long as he keeps killing everything he hits, he's that rare outlier that can succeed without being selective, much like Jones.
Just remember that Jones DID get destroyed by quality pitching in the postseason and that has always been my worry with him. Grichuk may still be susceptible to plus pitching but right now it just doesn't matter.
I've not seen a change in anything he does, he's just making it work for him. He's still overrated defensively but he can play a credible CF and that can make him a 4+ WAR player.
