Welp....I guess this is one way to do it.
I actually agree with not sending Cishek out there in a 1-run 9th in his first day on the team. And really, I applaud Matheny trying to get another day of rest for Rosenthal given the wear we saw against KC.
I just HATE that Randy Choate is on this roster.
Siegrist needs a break as well so I guess Choate is the guy you go with. Personally I think I'd have just left Maness out there to finish it because Choate just can't get anyone out....ever.
Oh, and I believe BRC asked this earlier and did so tongue in cheek, but I saw in an article today that yes, Randy Choate IS a part of the infamous bible study group. Worse still, Steve Cishek was also part of said study group during ST as both squads share the same training complex.
So even if he sucks, Cishek is a Cardinal for life now. The bible study group has gone from comedy to farce to tragedy.
