2005 was better, IMO. 2005 Carpenter was the best pitcher in the league, better than Waino. Pujols and Edmonds were both better than any of our position players and the offense didn't rely on a fluky RISP average, which has not, and will not, be repeated.

I'd take the '05 offense over the '13 offense, but I might be inclined to take the '13 pitching staff. I still have no clue why Shelby only pitched one inning in the POs. And Wacha was insane.
