Right, agreed, it's not really about the money. It's much more about the reputation and the games lost.
Hypothetically, if the Patriots would go 14-2 and have HFA throughout to defend their title, with Brady for all 16 games, or 12-4 with no first round bye, then that alone would make all this worth fighting for.
