And even Russell just seemed to get back to where he was in AAA. He didn't show the K tendencies in the A's system that he showed shortly after arriving in Chicago. Moreover, he didn't really show them in April either, did he? My memory was that he just started falling apart in June.

I still think you let a damn good hitting coach get away with Bill Mueller; I just think the Cardinals are letting him waste away as Mabry's caddie here in STL.
