Mess with them and you'll kill his stuff. It's the sling that gets so much armside run on his fastball and helps with the drop on his change. I also think it helps him pull down on his slider and turn it into that frisbee monster.

If you dick around with those, you'll have him throwing a lot more pitches like the one he just threw to Alvarez. His mechanics are loud but I think they help create the RPMs that make all his pitches move like they do.

I'm looking forward to putting 7 guys on this inning and somehow scoring no runs.
