Pitchers can also be rested when we are up 5 runs or more but the idiot in the dugout thinks it's a rule that the starter has to throw at least 100 pitches, especially if we are winning. Look what happened to Waino last season. He pitched a shitload of meaningless innings and his arm almost fell off before the postseason.
