I've found that best case with Glioblastoma, is 15 years. And that is rare. Age does play a huge factor. I'll be 45 next month, so that helps a lot. 60+ and the prognosis is not good.
If I get 10 more years, I can deal with that because I'll at least get to see my son graduate college.

My aspirational goal back in 1993* was to outlive my dog (he died 10 years ago), to see my daughters graduate HS (the youngest is a freshman in college now), and to see the Chiefs win the SB. I'm worried that the Chiefs could finally do it.
* speaking of the Chiefs, I remember being in a hospital bed at the Mayo Clinic in 1994 waiting for a major surgery the next day, watching Joe Montana and the Chiefs lose to Buffalo in the playoffs. I never dreamed it would be over 20 years before they won another playoff game.
